New Replacement Lycoming Parallel Valve Cylinder Heads Available from Engine Components, Inc.
San Antonio, TX
Monday, October 27, 1997
Engine Components, Inc. is pleased to announce a major expansion of its aircraft engine cylinder product line. New replacement cylinder heads are now available for Lycoming parallel valve cylinders which are used on 320, 360, and 540 series engines. Called the Classic Cast™ cylinder head, it is manufactured by the traditional method of sand casting using AMS 4220 aluminum alloy. For the last fifty years , this technology has proven itself to be an airworthy and economical way to make cylinder heads that can reliably go through several TBO's. While different technology for manufacturing cylinder heads has been introduced in recent years, ECi has chosen to go with a product that has passed the test of time and can confidently be given a limited one year warranty which is then prorated to TBO.
